Good Morning Families,
Springfield Ball Charter School will be open for school on Friday, January 10, 2025. We look forward to seeing our students today for in person learning!
As always during the winter season we encourage you to dress warm, wear boots or sturdy shoes and give yourself some extra time for travel in the morning! First Student bus company has done test drives today, prepped their vehicles, and are ready to roll. The District crews alongside City crews are in our lots and on the streets plowing and salting.
We appreciate your understanding and cooperation during these winter conditions.
If you have any questions, please reach and contact us

Good afternoon, Ball Charter Families,
We are keeping a close eye on the winter weather forecast for the Springfield area. The current forecast predicts 1 to 3 inches of snow tomorrow morning, which could impact the morning commute. We are actively monitoring conditions to determine whether school will be held in person.
In preparation for a possible e-learning day, we will be sending devices home with all students in grades 2 through 8. Primary students will receive learning packets to use at home.
A final decision will not be made until early tomorrow morning when we can assess road conditions with the most up-to-date information.
Thank you for your understanding.

Good evening, Ball Charter families,
In light of the ongoing winter weather conditions, Springfield Ball Charter School will have an e-learning day on Monday, January 6, 2024. Ensuring the safety and well-being of our students and staff remains our top priority, and we thank you for your understanding as we navigate these weather challenges together.
Teachers will communicate specific plans directly with families. If you were unable to pick up a school device, students can still access their Google Classrooms using any personal device at home. For families without a device, you may call the school beginning at 9:00 a.m. for attendance purposes.
Thank you for your flexibility and support.

We sincerely apologize to the families who were unable to pick up work packets and devices in preparation for potential e-learning days. While this information was communicated via ClassDojo and our website, we recently became aware that the robo calls and text messages did not go out as intended. We apologize for this oversight.
We donāt want to endanger families by adding additional pick up times. As a reminder, if you have a personal device at home, your student can access their Google Classrooms for e-learning. For families without a device, you may call the school starting at 9:00 a.m. for attendance purposes. Thank you for your understanding and patience.
